Tidekeeper · Last updated June 25, 2026
Short version: Tidekeeper collects nothing. No account, no ads, no tracking, no analytics, no third-party SDKs. Everything stays on your iPhone.
None. Tidekeeper does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, and it does not ask you to create an account or sign in.
Your favorite stations, display preferences, and alert settings are saved locally on your iPhone (in the app's own storage). They never leave your device and are never sent to us or anyone else.
Tide predictions are computed on-device from NOAA harmonic data bundled inside the app. Tidekeeper makes no network requests, has no backend, and we operate no servers that receive your information.
Tide alerts are scheduled locally by iOS on your device. There are no push servers and no delivery data is sent to us.
Tidekeeper Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the transaction; we never see or receive your payment details.
The app uses Apple's on-device MetricKit to note if it has crashed, storing a brief technical summary locally so it can be improved. This stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Tidekeeper collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
